He is by far my favorite of the Medlov men. He is strong, takes no prisoners, and is an all-around badass! I loved the way they grew together and bonded over loss and loneliness. The story was great and full of twist and turns that had me begging for more! Of all of the books in this series, this is the one I read over and over along with the books that followed it.

The Book Lady Reading is my Passion. My Other Accounts Facebook Goodreads https: Subscribe to this blog's feed Powered by Typepad. I loved the way Anatoly and Renee interacted. And I laughed out loud when he went to Atlanta. Be sure to read Anatoly's story, you will fall for him too. Apr 09, Taz Will rated it it was amazing. I thought Victoria would've learned her lesson but she was just as fool as she wanted to be. Anatoly seemed like he was just barley holding it all together but there was a method to all the chaos with him. I thought Destiny was going to show up or Harrison and end Anatoly's reign.
Gabriel was a give away from the beginning.
See a Problem?
I thought Dmitry was going to tell him that Ivan had told him, I was hoping he was anyway. I really like Anatoly going to Georgia, the family was funny. I was hop Great read! I was hoping for more interaction with them. Even with the story being good the real action took place within the last few chapters. I was too excited when Dmitry walked down those stairs. I wanted to see the real him come out a play like he did at the ball.
May 20, Tank rated it liked it. I like this series, but the romance part seems secondary even tertiary in these novels. I didn't enjoy this one as much as the second, but I will finis the series with the fourth installment. In this series I find myself enjoyin I like this series, but the romance part seems secondary even tertiary in these novels. In this series I find myself enjoying the male leads a lot more than the female lead. Renee is lovely and I'm glad Royal became more tolerable as the story line has unfolded. When is that fourth book coming out by the way? This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers.
To view it, click here. Although I did enjoy this story, I felt like it could have been better. I felt like there were parts missing from to Anatoly and Renee's story. There was more time spent on other topics than their relationship which was interesting for a romance novel. Gabriel was a nice addition to the family and I am glad he and Briggy got together.
Finally I am soo glad that Yuri got handled this time. It will be interesting to see how this series plays out. Jan 02, Kim rated it really liked it Shelves: What can I say Anatoly is the man. He is the definite boss now. He really became his own man in this book with all he has gone through. All the hiccups along the way were something else.
Losing his mother, gaining a cousin, deceit from women, and finally finding a love of his own in Renee. Those two were so sweet together. Anatoly is supposed to be the killer by Dimitry is just ruthless Can't wait to start the next book. This feels a bit rushed to me. Not up to the rest of the series.
Jun 15, La rated it it was amazing. Sometimes I pretend I'm Renee lmbo. Mar 20, Stephanie rated it liked it. Not as good as his father but still a good read. It seemed Anatoly's dad was always saving his butt, and I seriously could of used more romance in this one. Still worth a read though.
May 11, Kavita Francis rated it it was amazing. Book 3 of the series did not disappoint me one bit! I loved that Anatoly got his story, and oh what a story it was! Great job Ms Nelson! Jul 25, M rated it it was amazing. This author really knows how to weave an intriguing story. This one kept me on my toes. I wanted so badly read the book descriptions of the next books in the series so bad because I could not predict what was going you happen next. I'm glad I didn't.
Definitely worth the read. Mar 19, evette w rated it really liked it.

Finally we get to read about Anatoly and his life before and truly becoming boss. This was not only a story about a reunion among friends but one among family. I love that the fact we get to see inside of this family, the men specifically, and how hard that they love. The writer once again pulls you back into this series and this family so effortlessly that you get the feeling of coming home.
I loved the coming together of Ana and Renee it was not only sexy but it was an adult sexy, and Just Fantastic!! I loved the coming together of Ana and Renee it was not only sexy but it was an adult sexy, and that's two people putting all on the table. If you have not read any of this series or added it to your collection then you are just not really reading. This is one installment in the series you can't miss and this is one family you can't help but love.
I would suggest the series for your next moments of reading pleasure. Apr 23, Nene rated it it was amazing Shelves: I loved this book, Victoria got just what she deserved. I loved the relationship between Renee and Anatoly and was happy they found love between the two of them. I can't wait to see what happens next. Jun 21, Khanique McDaniel rated it it was amazing. And the twists, deceit, lust, love and everything in between keeps on rolling!!! I swear this series is my crack!! And even though the grammatical errors keep rolling and some scenes are juvenile and lack structure, I am still a fan of this series and can't wait to dive into book 4!
As expected, it all worked out in the end for the Medlov men, and I am glad that Dmitry and Anatoly's creativeness simmered the drama in the end. Couldn't have asked for a better ending, which is why I am confused as And the twists, deceit, lust, love and everything in between keeps on rolling!!! Couldn't have asked for a better ending, which is why I am confused as to the story line and stress of book 4. We met Gabriel in this installment and boy am I glad we did. He brought another element to the plate and gave us a new avenue in the Medlov line.
He was an easily loved character and even though a tiny note, I was glad we didn't have to relive Royal's nightmare every time someone new was introduced to the family. Gabriel was up to speed and fitted in perfectly. He is one of the many reasons I am going to delve into book 4 even though I am so afraid for Anya.
Technically being Anatoly's book, we spent more time with him than the other Medlov men, and once again, I am glad that this book is written in a narrative as I wanna know it all! Everything that is happening and where. It was good to also have a follow up of all the characters travelling with us from book 1.
Anatoly Medlov: Complete Reign
Anatoly's mind was just as I expected it to be and he came out of the story with the same thoughts and hopes that I had for him. It was like my own little Christmas present!! Renee got her spotlight and as usual, for some unexplained reason, I seem to never fully connect with the women in the Medlov men life We got to see the new Vor and how it has developed under the reign of Anatoly. I love his speeches and his way of dealing with business.
He is more direct and doesn't hide behind anything when it's time for the truth It was good to see the difference between Anatoly and his father. Some people were born to be bad Anatoly is one of them. History was explained and a lot of things throughout the series was clarified and rectified. I feel like I am building with these characters and I am always entertained and wanting more. So far, I am unable to pick my favorite of the series, but this one is very close.
Then again, maybe it is my favorite If you can over look the unexplained Russian conversations, the many grammatical errors and constant violence, you can enjoy this one. Please bare in mind this is not a sex filled trying to be bad book. This is a bad book with bad characters who do as they please when they please.
Still, you can't help but to go on their journey as it all seems so real and not at all forced. A nod for the Jamaica mention!! Mar 25, Yasmin rated it really liked it. So far, book 3 is the best in the series. I loved the way the author told Anatoly's story and showed a clear and realistic evolution of his character. Book 3 was also one of the better written of the series as far as grammer and character and story development are concerned.
The relationship between Renee and Anatoly was believeable, fresh, romantic and realistic. Unlike Dmitry and Royal whom I love, Anatoly and Renee didn't have to break down as many barriers because they were friends and true So far, book 3 is the best in the series.
Unlike Dmitry and Royal whom I love, Anatoly and Renee didn't have to break down as many barriers because they were friends and true confidants first. Plus, Renee wasn't as naive or clueless like Royal had been. Anatoly isn't as guarded as his father. I think what I liked most is they seemed familiar and real. It wasn't an over the top fairytale romance. It was a real friendship that developed into more which we can all relate to. Too many grammatical errors, typos and some reduntancy ruins the feel of such moments when they're intimate or having a break through.
Having to reread a passage because there's a typo or the sentence just doesn't make sense takes away from the story. Also, attention to detail is key. For example, there's a part in the story when Anatoly is in Prague and meets a prostitute at a club. When he leaves his father's house, he's in a Maserati. When he gets to the club it's a Bentley. This may seem minor but when it occurs more than a few times not just in one book but the entire series, it can make connecting the dots tedious.
I really do enjoy this series and the author's work as it seems to improve with each book. I cannot wait to read the final book, Saving Anya and see how the Medlov clan ends up. Aug 11, janine rated it really liked it Shelves: This one is about Anatoly, the short blue eyed russian who was a killer since his early years. He travels back to Russia to pay respect to his mother who died. There his other siblings ignore him because he is Vor. A criminal who is godless. Anatoly feels alone in the world until his father, stepmother and little sister Anya walk in with the bodyguards. At the funeral he meets Gabriel , his cousin.
Gabriel is Ivan's son. Even without a dna test its clear that he resembles his father.
But why doe This one is about Anatoly, the short blue eyed russian who was a killer since his early years. But why does he shows up now? Anatoly doesnt trust him and is glad to go back home to Memphis. Renee Royal's co worker and Anatoly best friend is there. Anatoly confides in her about his state of mind and about the funeral.
I dont want to say to much about this one but i liked it. Imo this love story is better then Royal's. Anatoly's love interest is real, loving and needed. The story had humour, i especially liked the part were Dmitry tells Anatoly to thrust more with his hippes for the womans pleasure. Seems that Anatoly is selfish even in bed.
Jun 01, Emotonal Reads rated it really liked it Shelves: I also loved the first book in this series, that was the last and only time I truly loved and respected Dimitry. After that stunt with that slut of a whore in, Rise Of The Queen, basically dry humping the woman who almost killed his wife, in their home, I lost all respect for him. He might have called it, "punishing the slut," but there is other ways he could of done it. He might of had a knife to her throat, but he just dry humping her from the back and had kissed her, did I mention passionatel I also loved the first book in this series, that was the last and only time I truly loved and respected Dimitry.
He might of had a knife to her throat, but he just dry humping her from the back and had kissed her, did I mention passionately, twice, then later, without washing that whores scent and lipstick off him, he had sex with his wife. She didn't react like any normal woman would in seeing his display. I lost respect for her too. I don't care what kind of excuse anyone might come up with, there is never an excuse for his behavior. He even gave the slut a job. I don't understand how the first book ended so well but suddenly in the second book she's messed up. Made absolutely no sense to me. This book I liked: Still don't like Dimitry.
May 30, Lunecroix rated it really liked it. Great book with a great story. I was in love with Anatoly from the first book, so it was an extreme pleasure to finally dig into his mindset with this one.
I would do this for free! It makes no sense for the third book in the series to be the WORST book when it comes to punctuation and spelling!
Anatoly Medlov: Complete Reign by Latrivia S. Nelson
Its as if the editor, if there is one, gave up because there wasn't enough complaints about the Great book with a great story. Its as if the editor, if there is one, gave up because there wasn't enough complaints about the others. I've been able to somehow ignore it for the first two books, but now I just can't, especially when it leaves me laughing at how horrid the editing is. Let me just say, This book was equally as amazing as the previous 3. This story kept true the characters and really stressed the importance of holding on to what you have, finding out what is truly important to you and doing what you have to to hold on to it.
This story has it all, betrayal, family, ambition, true love, revenge and forgiveness. I would definitly recommend this book as well as the ones before it. May 11, Hez rated it really liked it Shelves: Anatoly made his name in this book as a boss. He learned well from his father. I liked him and Renee but I would've liked to see them more.
I also liked Gabriel. Even though his true status was revealed, I was glad nothing came out of it. He was a main focus in the book: He tells you as it is then sends you to meet your maker. The man is deadly when it comes to the organization.
